Ziyu Fan is a Chinese film writer, director, and producer based in upstate New York and sometimes Shanghai. Born and raised in China, his works focus on the mind state of young people and their friction with the adult’s world on their way searching for identity. He is due to graduate from Syracuse University’s Film BFA program in May 2023 and have been admitted to Columbia University’s 2023 Fall MFA program in Screenwriting & Directing.
